EPV Primary School Teacher Course

Teacher courses

This course is designed for those who teach music in their schools, with a particular focus on liturgical music and sacramental preparation. It will provide teachers with an exposure to a wide variety of liturgical music as part of a balanced and integrated curriculum and empower them to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes so that they can enhance the teaching, learning and assessment of music in their school communities. It will also help to develop teachers’ skills and confidence in planning and preparing for sacramental and whole school liturgies. An important element of the course is cross-curricular integration (Music, RE, Visual Arts, SPHE, Drama, Literacy, Numeracy).
