Music Ministry Together takes its commitment to safeguarding very seriously. We at Music Ministry Together will follow the policies and procedures set out by the Diocese of Killaloe. Killaloe Diocese have published policies and procedures in accordance with Standards and Guidance Document for the Catholic Church in Ireland. We are fully compliant with all the provisions of civil law in this area.

Here at MMT we are committed to the best practice in relation to any data we collect. We are proud to provide a course and website that is easy to understand, and we strive for the same level of clarity in the policies that govern our course. All our data is stored in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. It’s a huge step forward in holding service providers (that’s us!) accountable for how they store and use your personal data in the European Union, and we’ve taken this opportunity to review our policies and practices for everyone.

Most of our policies are already aligned with the GDPR’s requirements, and are in line with Diocesan GDPR requirements.

Grievance Policy

MMT have a grievance policy in place should you or anyone that has participated in MMT or on team have an issue with that they would like resolved. This policy is here.

Code of Conduct on Campus

Notice to Guests on Campus

All those staying in campus accommodation are reminded of our terms and conditions: 

Music Ministry Together asks all those taking part in the Summer School to follow these. 

Consumption of alcohol and/or illegal substances on the campus is strictly prohibited.

Any guests deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance and likely to cause a disturbance will be asked to leave or refused admission.

The rights and privacy of resident staff and the Monestrary must be respected.

It is expected that from midnight on there should be no noise in any of the accommodation areas. Any guest causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.

The rights and privacy of other guests must also be respected.

Under no circumstances should a guest bring another person back to his or her bedroom. This is a serious safety and security issue. Anyone found in breach of this during the course of the night will be asked to leave immediately. If the rule is found subsequently to have been breached the incident will be reported to the Safeguarding Officer. Disciplinary action may be taken against any person(s) in breach of this regulation.
